These terms govern your use of HourTrail, provided by Hinners Software.

The service

HourTrail helps you record and report your own working time. You're responsible for reviewing your hours before billing anyone with them.

Your use

Install the desktop app only on computers you own or are authorized to use, and only to track your own activity. Don't use HourTrail to monitor other people.

Trial, billing and cancellation

New accounts get a 14-day free trial. After that, a paid subscription is required to keep syncing. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Your data

You own your data. You can export it at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before a claim.

Changes

We may update these terms and will notify you by email of material changes.
